Under-Sink Water Filters
Filtered drinking water from your own kitchen cabinet, with sediment and carbon stages feeding a dedicated tap or a three-way mixer.
How we approach under-sink water filters
An under-sink filter treats only the water you drink and cook with. It fits in the kitchen cabinet and feeds either a dedicated drinking-water tap or a three-way mixer, which makes it the simplest way to improve drinking water without treating the whole house.
Most systems use two or three stages of sediment and carbon, with reverse osmosis as the step up where dissolved solids are a concern. We check cabinet space, the cold-water connection and how easily the cartridges can be reached for changes.
What to check before buying
Better drinking water without plumbing the whole house.
Drinking water only
Filters the kitchen tap, where quality matters most.
Tap options
A dedicated filter tap or a three-way mixer keeps the sink tidy.
Easy changes
Quick-change cartridges sit where they are easy to reach.
FAQs
Questions before we quote
Do I need a separate tap for an under-sink filter?
Usually, yes: either a small dedicated filter tap or a three-way mixer with separate filtered and unfiltered channels.
Will an under-sink filter fit in my cabinet?
Most two- and three-stage systems fit a standard kitchen cabinet. Reverse osmosis units with a storage tank need more space, so we check before recommending one.
Is an under-sink filter enough for borehole water?
Not on its own. Borehole water usually needs treatment where it enters the property first, with an under-sink stage for drinking water after that.
