Water Filter Cartridges
Sediment, carbon and specialist replacement cartridges in 10-inch, 20-inch and big blue sizes, matched to the housing you already have.
How we approach water filter cartridges
Replacement cartridges are where filtration performance is kept or lost. They come in common housing sizes, such as standard 10-inch and 20-inch and the larger big blue housings, and in sediment, carbon block, granular carbon and specialist types.
The right replacement depends on the housing size, the stage it sits in and the water it treats. If you are not sure what is fitted, a photo of the housing and the old cartridge is usually enough to match it.
What to check before buying
Matching a replacement cartridge comes down to three things.
Match the housing
Length and diameter must match the housing you already have.
Match the stage
Sediment, carbon and specialist cartridges each do a different job.
Keep a schedule
Regular changes keep pressure and taste where they should be.
FAQs
Questions before we quote
How do I know which cartridge to order?
Send a photo of the housing and the old cartridge, or the size printed on it. Length, diameter and stage type are what matter.
How often do cartridges need changing?
Sediment cartridges are changed when the pressure drops or they discolour, and carbon typically every six to twelve months. Borehole and tank water need more frequent changes.
Can I fit a finer cartridge for cleaner water?
Only if the stage before it protects it. A finer cartridge on a dirty supply clogs quickly and reduces pressure.
