Water Filtration Systems

Home Water Filtration

Whole-house filtration improves water before it reaches showers, kitchens, laundry points and appliances.

How we approach home water filtration

Whole-house filtration treats water where it enters the property, so every tap, shower, washing machine and geyser gets the same filtered supply. In most homes that means a sediment stage to catch grit and a carbon stage to reduce chlorine taste and smell.

Because it handles the full flow of the house, the system is sized so showers and taps do not lose pressure when several are running at once. For drinking water alone, an under-sink filter or reverse osmosis at the kitchen tap is often the simpler choice.

What the specification covers

Whole-house systems are judged by how they perform at every tap.

Point of entry

One installation filters every tap, shower and appliance.

Sized for flow

Housings are sized so several outlets can run without pressure loss.

Drinking water

Add an under-sink or RO stage where drinking quality matters most.

FAQs

Questions before we quote

What is the difference between whole-house and under-sink filtration?

Whole-house filtration treats all the water entering the home. Under-sink filtration treats only the drinking-water tap, usually to a finer standard. Many homes combine the two.

Will a whole-house filter reduce my water pressure?

A correctly sized system should not be noticeable. We size the filter housings to your flow rate and to the number of outlets that run at the same time.

Does a whole-house filter soften water?

No. Sediment and carbon filters do not remove hardness. If scale is a problem, a water softener is added as a separate stage.

Ready to filter the whole house?

Send your water source, the number of bathrooms and where the main line enters the property. We will size a system around it.
